For the Associate Director, Product Owner (PO) role within Human Health Insights, Analytics and Data (HHIAD) organization, we are seeking an agile Product Owner to work in our HHIAD - Global Products team. In this role, you will be leveraging design thinking, lean and agile processes to produce data and analytical products and solutions. Engage with key stakeholders, customers, and partners to rapidly assess needs, develop prototypes, build products, manage roadmaps, and drive adoption. Understand the marketing and sales business problems with a lens of the global and market construct. Find new and exciting ways to drive the business forward through the power of data and analytics.

The Global Products team focuses on bringing together data and technology capabilities and solutions to allow for the organization to become data-driven in every decision to drive revenue and growth. Ensure the products are aligned with the company's mission and vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of data science products and solutions from concept to adoption. Translate the high-level vision to a cohesive roadmap and own the end-to-end delivery of products from conceptualizing to prototyping, testing, deploying, impact measurement & adoption.

  • Oversee the delivery of analytics products, with a keen focus on insight automation and commercial execution across the commercial and marketing ecosystem.

  • Partner with various business strategy and execution teams, internal data teams, and 3rd party vendors to design, develop, and scale these capabilities.

  • Responsible for creating epics, features, user stories and ensure delivery teams have groomed backlogs to meet product deadlines.

  • Work with data scientists, product engineers, architects to identify non-functional requirements.

  • Engage and conduct product stakeholder meetings. Provide vision and product strategy.

  • Resolve product impediments and drive process changes to enable faster and higher-quality software.

  • Tough decisions on trade-offs between features, quality, and dates to provide the best solution for our clients.

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the goals and desired objectives of the initiatives and features.

  • Coordinate with many internal stakeholders, Product Managers, and Agile teams.

  • Work independently under minimal guidance with regular alignment with management teams.

Education:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or related field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc.)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated PO experience in data and analytics

  • PO experience in building analytical products in an agile framework

  • Valid experience in Product Development Frameworks, SDLC, Data Science Life Cycle

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Understanding of Global Sales and Marketing data domains

  • Prior Pharma Experience

  • Agile Certifications

  • AWS Cloud Certifications
