Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC, one of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is currently recruiting for an Associate Director (AD) role for the Solid Tumor Medical Information & Knowledge Integration team located in Horsham, PA.

The Associate Director (AD), Medical Information role provides scientific knowledge support through a keen understanding of science, solid tumor disease states, and Janssen products to teach internal business partners and to conduct comprehensive analysis of data.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviews promotional and sales training assets for accuracy, consistency with product labeling, and fair balance
- Serves as the key contact for development of customer materials (e.g., standard responses, clinical presentations, FAQs)
- Conducts in-depth evaluation of medical literature on Janssen and competitor products
- Develops strategic concepts through participation in cross-functional teams, utilizing clinical knowledge, expertise, and emerging voice of customer trends
- Leads Medical Information therapeutic area and departmental projects (e.g., new product launches, innovative content)
- Assures quality of Medical Information training materials
- Mentors development of team's therapeutic knowledge
- Handles complex scientific inquiries from HCPs or payers
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MS, or equivalent) required
- At least 6 years of experience in drug information/medical information or comparable experience within the health care/clinical/hospital environment is required.
- Extensive experience in cross-functional review of promotional assets for medical accuracy and fair balance is required
- Proven ability to conduct literature analysis is required
- Experience developing responses for healthcare professionals, payers, and consumers is required
- Proven outstanding instructional and presentation skills is required
- Project management/team leadership experience is required
- Expertise in healthcare industry with clinical knowledge in oncology/solid tumor therapeutic area and associated products preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Advanced analytical and evaluative skills
- Proficient project management skills
- This position is located in Horsham, PA and may require up to 10% domestic travel for conference attendance and company meetings.
