Job Description
The Associate Producer is responsible for managing internal & client facing digital projects within the Production Department. As an Associate Producer you will bring the creative vision to life while managing schedules, budgets and workflow. This person will work closely with creative, account, and studio development teams to launch best in class campaigns, and other media initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Manage the production of a range of digital campaign deliverables (banners, websites, apps, and more) from start-to-finish
- Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle of projects with a focus on project planning, prioritization, risk mitigation, quality control standards and successful delivery
- Facilitate elements of campaign efforts through scheduling, discovery, defining project requirements, routing, legal, development, product reviews, QA, and launch prep
- Work closely with multi-disciplined teams (Strategy, Account, Media, Creative, Development and Analytics) on assigned projects
- Develop and track various forms of project documentation including but not limited to request for proposals and SOW's (statement of work), in collaboration with the aforementioned teams
- Work in an independent fashion to make decisions, solve problems, and communicate effectively in difficult situations
- Conduct research, assessments, and selection of vendors and development partners
- Create, manage, and/or track project assets and documents including legal documentation such as NDA's and MSA's
- Identify and leverage technology as needed to meet project objectives
- Work with cost consultancy agencies such as EVP
- Schedule project internal and partner meetings
- Support day-to-day requests across varying client stakeholders
- Be a self-starter, practice good judgment, and team player
- Be passionate about delivering the best creative, while finding ways of producing it on schedule and budget
- Keep accurate timesheets and submitting them in a timely manner
- At the completion of a project, write case studies to summarize and present
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of previous digital production experience working on a full project lifecycle in social, digital, or related initiatives. A BA or BS degree from an accredited 4-year institution is preferred and previous agency experience working on automotive clients is a plus.
- Developing or producing digital display ads such as HTML web banners or social display ads
- Online advertising ecosystem, including familiarity with production vendors, rich media publishers, and ad serving systems such as Google DoubleClick, FlashTalking, Innovid, and others.
- Core project management methodology & tools (e.g. project initiation, planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, resource & issue management, JIRA, etc.).
- Familiarity with basic web programming languages (HTML, Javascript) and web design applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch, Zeplin) as well as iOS, Android and common mobile devices and platforms
- Ability to perform basic desktop and mobile browser QA and troubleshoot common issues in a development/staging environment
- Detail-oriented, self-starting individual with good judgment, excellent computer skills, an outgoing personality, and team player
- Professional, friendly demeanor with demonstrated ability to work well with peers and appropriately respond to various situations
- Working on multiple production streams simultaneously and ability to prioritize tasks while managing time effectively
- Communicating effectively, internally, and externally, with good presentation skills
- Coordination and management of vendors and vendor relationships
- Position held as a Digital Coordinator, Associate Producer, or similar experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and MS Project)
- Ability to assimilate information quickly
- Prior work with cost consultants is a plus
- Technical orientation: love and comfort with tech, including consumer websites, website development, user interfaces, mobile and video game devices
