Associate Designer

Summary: An associate Designer will be a junior member of the in-house design studio, responsible for execution and implementation of the Agency’s creative concepts for managed care tactics and presentations. This is a supervised position, working closely with a Sr. member of the team

About the job:

• Designs and produces visual elements and layouts for visual communication materials across a variety of platforms such as traditional print, presentations, digital, and motion graphics
• Become experienced with basic projects across both print and digital and develop a thorough understanding of art development process from job initiation to completion
• Interacts with art and copy staff on agency projects
• Adheres to budget and time constraints
• Presents ideas to supervisor
• Maintain accurate timesheets completed to required deadlines
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends on an as-needed basis

About you:

• A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising/communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4-year) degree is preferred.
• Solid understanding of the printing process, photography, illustration and typography
• Digital design skills and understanding of the digital space
• High attention to detail
• Must be team oriented and self-motivated
• Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members within the organization
• Able to effectively handle multiple assignments at one time, ask for assistance and seek out additional work if becoming available

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Design Suite and proficiency in MS Office suite, more specifically presentation design

• Must be able to express oneself clearly through written and verbal communication
