Job Description
Saatchi & Saatchi is looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our highly awarded creative department. This person should be curious, competitive, ever learning and have a deep knowledge of the current creative climate. They immerse themselves in everyday brands, culture and the creative industry. They will have already picked up some prestigious awards in their career so far but they are hungry for more; striving to innovate and especially to win in emerging categories.
This person obsesses about the details. Someone who can simplify ideas and express themselves clearly. Someone who can think outside of their own comfort zone, is highly strategic and flexible in a fast paced environment. Someone who is kind and inspirational.
This person will be a conceptual 360 thinker across a variety of briefs and will be focused on craft, production and executional perfection. Someone who thinks no assignment is too big or too small to make an impact.
Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of copywriting for well-known brands. Evidence of strong digital/social/experience work is essential.- A thought leader with a strong POV but also has an open mind; is ready to listen and learn.
- Understands the “best in class” use of each platform. You know what it means to be make something interesting, engaging and creative in the world today.
- Ability to concept innovative ideas and tactics that people will talk about. Always envisioning the potential outcomes of each idea; thinking through the earned media headlines, potential media responses, consumer reactions and tweets etc.
- Someone who always brings one extra idea that nobody saw coming, something bold, simple and perfect, the cherry on top.
- Excellent client management and presentation skills. We’re looking for someone who is confident in the work they create and lead, they know how to speak professionally about their ideas and how they can positively impact out client’s business.
- A versatile team player; able to work alone or in a team, able to take direction from creative directors and to mentor others within the department.
- Participates in new business pitches
