Job Description

Background & Purpose of the Job

Responsible for driving supplier operational results though partnership, competitive buying- NMI improvement, innovation readiness and cost savings initiatives.
Directs the strategic and tactical elements of Unilever’s supply security for innovation, including coordination of associated raw and packaging materials and CM’s = 3PM within assigned Business Team. Fully understand the supplier relationship structure, including established linkages between Procurement Portfolio, Global Team and internal/external customers.

Manage the key interfaces related to project execution for all category innovations & renovations. Such as R&D, Engineering, Planning, Brand Development, Finance, Procurement, Global Category Procurement and the external supply base.

Leader in establishing best practices to drive NMI improvement to UL plants and CM’s from whole supply.
Responsible for support and manage 5S Weekly, Monthly meeting and also, 5S Workshops internal and with suppliers, focus on cost reduction with an emphasis on managing working capital and waste reduction across assigned business team, and help manage plans to meet inventory targets in supply chain.

Owns the coordination of flawless execution of innovation and Fuel for growth F4G to improve material cost through supporting R&D and Portfolio teams with Product logic, reducing Miscellaneous Cost, Factory waste, ZBB, CM Savings, through challenge status quo and explore new options and opportunities. This role will have strong interaction with Global Category team, Portfolio, Supply Chain, Finance, Brand, Engineering, quality teams & R&D.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

You’re a leader: Leads work on improvement NMI material cost and Category Innovation to support the business and Category P&L Improvement. Manages 5S and NMI Improvement work with multiple teams as R&D, Brand, Supply Chain: Planning, Quality, Engineering, Portfolio Procurement Team to coordinate improvements for Foods P&L Material results and Gross Margin improvement.

You’re a change maker: Listen to your stakeholders needs and provide workable solutions in line with corporate objectives. Drive improvements in NMI and deliver innovation on time

You’re a culture & change champion: Assist with the collaborative relationship with the suppliers and Procurement regarding Innovation and Fuel For Growth improvement, drive improvements with suppliers and plants: UL or CMs.

You’re a dot connector: Strongly link to internal support functions (Buyers, R&D, Engineering, Go-to-Market Planning, Brand, & Contract Admin, etc) to ensure the progressions of material flow for innovation and material cost improvement.

You love to win, and have fun doing it: You will drive improvements in Innovation process with both the suppliers and 3PM. You will also assist with cost savings 5S opportunities focus on 3PM and UL plants for the category.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree Supply Chain/ Logistic, Business, Sciences, Engineering
  • 2-3 years general business experience in any Supply Chain function (Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Management, Planning)
