The Associate Benefit Analyst will be responsible for the installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and billing set up, structure revisions, researching and resolving structure issues, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials. This position is also responsible for overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6:00am - 7:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and audit benefits in RxClaim
- Research issues and develop customer specific resolutions
- Client interaction/client facing at times
- Act as a lead and mentor
- Provide and design all pieces for implementation
- Serve as a resource to business partners and co - workers
- Assist with the development of process improvement for the department
- Analyze data
- Design the benefit plan
- Support client management and/or other internal partners with research
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Generally, work is self - directed and not prescribed
- Work with less structured, more complex issues
- Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
- Maintain an acceptable quality level and production turnaround time
- Use automation tools effectively

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience within a healthcare insurance, healthcare environment, or pharmacy equivalent related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel – ability to open, create, edit, save, and send documents and spreadsheet
- Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6:00am - 7:00pm) in your time zone. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in pharmacy or healthcare fields
- 2+ years of experience in a PBM environment performing a benefit related function
- RXClaim experience
- Pharmacy Technician and / or CPHT License
- Experience in preparing, processing, and maintaining new benefit installation and renewals
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $17.12 - $30.34. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $18.80 - $33.41.
