Cookies in Paradise is in our 3rd decade of being a food manufacturer of baked goods. We are a wholesale manufacturing company of snacks and baked goods. We're currently hiring for the position of Associate Baker. Candidate must be resident of Hawaii and currently live on the island of Oahu. Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from company work facility.

Responsibilities of the job include:

• The process of weighing out raw materials and recipe preparation.
• The process of mixing raw materials
• Using commercial baking equipment such as mixers, tumblers, ovens, depositors, sealers, etc.
• Manage and function in the baking process
• Pack and seal baked items
• Continuous focus and effort on food safety and good manufacturing practices
• Managing work loads for large scale baked item production
• Working in an efficient and timely manner
• Maintain clean workspace and safe workplace
• Have a team player attitude
• Meet or surpass the daily manufacturing goals

Skills :

• Execute the manufacturing process from the written recipe
• Basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Mechanically inclined to setup or repair commercial food equipment.

Requirements:

• Good work ethic and attitude
• Reliable work transportation at 4:00 am, Monday through Friday
• Dependable work attendance
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs when required
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal forms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
