Associate Automation Engineer

Caltrol is Hiring an Associate Automation Engineer in Chandler, AZ!

Caltrol, Inc is looking for an entry-level automation engineer to join our team and support the design and implementation of DCS-based control systems. Our ideal candidate is a recent graduate with an engineering degree and may have some experience with control systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and review project specific documents such as user requirement specifications, functional and software design specifications with the customer
• Working with senior engineers, design and implement DCS-based control system to meet customer user requirement specifications.
• Participate in the development of factory acceptance test (FAT), execute site acceptance test (SAT), support onsite commissioning, and startup of DCS-based control systems.
• Manage and track personal project activities to deliver results that are right the first time, on-time with schedule requirements, and on budget.
• Set up systems (hardware and software) either on customer site or in the office.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM program

Preferred:

• Chemical Engineering degree
• 2-5 years-experience with PLCs or DCS systems in industrial applications
• Previous Emerson DeltaV DCS experience
• Experience in Life Sciences
• Experience in designing graphics
