Job Description


The AGS Associate Automation Developer will be primarily responsible for assisting with creation, implementation and maintenance of Workflows/Automations utilizing various process automation technologies. The Associate Developer will work with multiple teams across the organization to help support: innovative ideas, create efficiencies, standardize and to elevate the AGS service offering to our Internal and External Customers.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

  • Build knowledge and expertise in AGS automation technologies
  • Attend client discovery meetings with senior developers and process owners to develop use cases, process maps and technical requirements for proposed automations.
  • Support scoping documents for approved automations.
  • Support and manage and document SOPs for use in future automations.
  • Migrate automations from UAT to Test and Prod
  • Help assign and estimate build time(s) for projects and communicate timelines and expectations to the business
  • Build automations while keeping leadership updated and communicate any issues or additional needs as soon as they arise
  • Follow up with customers post-implementation to validate automations are functioning as planned and remediates technical issues accordingly
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing builds
  • Create/follow best practices for building naming conventions, implementation and, documenting test scripts
  • Attend and contribute to in-person handoffs including demos and/or training
  • Understand and work in an agile development environment with the ability to work on numerous automations simultaneously

Qualifications


Required

  • Creative approach to problem solving, innovation, and issue resolution
  • Strong technical, organizational, and consulting level communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze business processes for improvement
  • General computer knowledge with an eagerness to learn the craft of development work
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a demonstrated analytical ability and curiosity

Preferred

  • 1+ years development background
  • 1+ years working in Process Automation or using scripting/programming language
  • Experience working in talent acquisition with VMS, ATS or HRIS systems is a plus
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working with Catalytic a plus
  • Degree in business, computer science or related OR relevant work experience OR successful completion of a relevant coding certification
