St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for the part-time contingent position of Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. Responsibilities include serving as assistant coach in a competitive NCAA Division III Women’s volleyball program. Duties for the Assistant Volleyball position include assisting in all areas of coaching the volleyball team, including, but not limited to, recruiting, organizing and planning practices and game strategies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and knowledge of NCAA and NEAC rules and regulations. Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Ability to travel to away games during the season and some travel for recruiting is required. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful of a criminal background check.
