Job Description

We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for working with young children (ages 6 weeks-5 years) in our NAEYC accredited Early Childhood Center. Do you love little kids? We are currently looking for assistants to work both full and part-time in our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: actively engaging/interacting with the children (singing, reading stories, playing on the floor), following/recording feeding/sleeping schedules, setting up and monitoring meals/snacks, changing diapers, assisting lead teachers with lesson planning, being responsible for the safety and welfare of the children, supervising all children by sight and sound, maintaining overall classroom cleanliness, and having a positive rapport with the children and their families.

While we are looking to hire for all shifts (and a combination of shifts), you MUST be available at least three afternoons (12-6) Mon-Fri. This is a great job for college students, as we are willing to work around your class schedule for the right candidate! $12.50 per hour starting salary, depending on experience. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and at least one year of work experience in a child care setting with young children.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, or a CDA, and two or more years of work experience in a child care setting with young children.
