Assistant Salon Manager

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color (Grand Rapids, MI) has an immediate need for a Assistant Salon Manager that wants to join a our fun, creative and busy full service salon!

The Assistant Salon Manager should enjoy being behind the chair, focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience and possess technical skills in all areas of cosmetology, especially hair color. They should also thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coach a team.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

*Coach and motivate the team to meet FS Brand Guest Service standards and key performance indicators * Make decisions that will support the needs of the business including resolving guest and team member concerns in a timely and respectful manner * Manage the salons social media pages and follow corporate recommendations for posting * Spend time networking to build relationships with top talent in the community * Analyze sales reports and recognize areas of improvement to develop growth opportunities for the salon * Maintain an operationally excellent salon including, but not limited to inventory, in-salon events, scheduling for growth, recruiting and hiring.

Hair Stylist Qualifications - Valid Michigan Cosmetology licensed (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Hair Stylists: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
