Below is a general description of the position.

ASSISTANT RURAL CARRIER (ARC) – $19.50/Hr. Medical benefits are not available for this position. ARCs deliver parcels on rural routes on Sundays and most government recognized holidays. You also may be required to deliver a full rural route on Saturdays. This is a good position if you are looking for a weekend job for some extra money.

In this role you deliver and collect packages along routes in rural areas during weekdays, weekends and holidays. You also provide a variety of services to customers along your assigned route. You may be required to use a personal vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided. As an RCA you may be eligible to receive health benefits and promotion to a career opportunity. This position is ideal for candidates that enjoy staying active and working independently outdoors with occasional customer service interactions.

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability
• Year round work

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Contoocook, NH 03229: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Typing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Organizational skills: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: One location
