Job Description

Elite Construction Company is hiring a Assistant Project/ Office Manager to assist with our many jobs in the area.

The postion is temporary to cover our Office Manager during time off, it will be a three week job working Monday thru Wednesday.


Assists with Project Management of large-scale construction projects

Must be proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office


Job Requirements:

Bookkeeping is an essential requirement and proficiency with Quickbooks Online Program Is critical. You will be responsible for invoicing, generating billing statements, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciling. Experience in the Construction Industry would be ideal. Qualified applicants will have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

  • Able to multi-task
  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Contract documents to include certificate of insurance, lien waivers, certified payroll and familiar with AIA documents.
  • Coordinate payroll through third party payroll company
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts (bank and credit card) in a timely manner
  • Entry of key data of financial transactions in database
  • Prepare cost reports for projects
  • Experience in basic H.R.support, such as all required paperwork, including W-9’s
  • Mail, licensing, recertification, compliance documents and insurance renewal and audit
  • Answering multi-line phone system
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Printing, copying, and document distribution
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have experience in relating with and working with strong personalities, common in the construction fields.
  • Must work well with others
  • Ensures compliance with all contract conditions by working with assigned Project Manager

  • Education:
    • Associate (Preferred)
  • Pay: $15.00- $16.00 per hour
