Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that allows company insurability.

Position Summary:

Assists the Parts Manager in preparing a business plan and maintain a profitable parts department. The assistant manager must also exhibit a thorough knowledge of Kriete products, performance standards, warranties, sales programs, and operating policies. This position must have the ability to accept a flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor the parts inventory and anticipate future parts needs
  • Assist in pricing and ordering of parts
  • Increase sales by monitoring marketplace trends and recommending new strategies
  • Facilitate the processing of time-sensitive orders
  • Coordinate with the parts manager for delivery of parts and invoicing
  • Assist with parts marketing and parts promotions
  • Assist with resolution of stock and order issues
  • Accomplishes objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising and displaying
  • Able to establish and maintain good relations with fellow employees and customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service.
  • Capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts, including identifying sequences of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have automotive parts and retail sales experience
  • Knowledge of automotive/heavy equipment systems
  • Knowledge of parts pricing procedures
  • Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment, be competitive, yet have the ability to remain calm.
  • Experience in managing an inventory system
  • ASE parts certification a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
