University of Oklahoma Athletics is looking for a creative, highly motivated graphic designer to join our team. Duties will include but are not limited to organize and manage multiple design projects in various stages of progress Formulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, merchandise, installations and other collateral from initial idea to final execution Design advertisements, print materials and promotional materials for all athleticsrelated departments and teams. Present or pitch ideas, briefs, and concepts to various parties. Meet all advertising and print deadlines Contribute to the invention and implementation of marketing/communications initiatives Provide creative direction to photographers and studentathletes at photo shoots.
Job Requirements
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
- 12 months of Graphic Arts or Desktop Publishing experience
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Develop good rapport with other members of the Athletics Department
- Ability to gain and maintain working knowledge of University, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure a cohesive message and look across all design projects and materials
- Must know design programs on Mac operating system, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and font management.
- Ability to formulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, merchandise, installations and other collateral from initial idea to final execution

- Must be able to engage in repetitive motions, grasp, feel, touch, communicate, hear and see including color, depth perception and clarity.
- 36 mo of work exp with a creative firm, professional team or collegiate athletics
- Working knowledge of Univ, Big 12, & NCAA rules & regulations
