Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager / ANM RN is a professional nurse who manages the daily operations of a department (s)to provide services for patients while meeting quality, legal, organizational and medical staff goals.
The Assistant Nurse Manager / ANM RN is responsible for promoting the efficient operations to provide effective nursing care of a designated department (s).
The Assistant Nurse Manager / ANM RN manages the department independently under the guidance of an Manager.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Nurse Manager / ANM RN ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO and the Nurse Practice Act.

• The Assistant Nurse Manager / ANM RN promotes optimum health care delivery within budgetary guidelines.

• Is responsible for department(s) on a 24 hour basis.

  
  

Education
Required: Academic degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree

Experience
Required: 2-3 yrs RN experience in Medical/Surgical

Certifications
Required:

• Florida licensed RN
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS

Candidates in unit have priority based on unit seniority
