POSITION TITLE: Assistant Inventory and Purchasing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Inventory
LOCATION: Denver, CO
SUPERVISOR: Inventory and Purchasing Manager
SALARY: $47,000
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time/Exempt

SUMMARY:
The Assistant Inventory and Purchasing Manager will work with the Manager and Director to
oversee inventory levels, processing yield tracking, manage Inventory Specialists, distribute
Lightshade products, and purchase all wholesale consumables, flower, and concentrates. This
position will work very closely with the Manager of Inventory as well as Production to establish
needs, identify gaps, and fulfill inventory needs of the entire company. This position also works
closely with Finance, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations. The primary responsibilities will
include managing the Distribution of Inventory and department employees. Another main
component will be the ordering for, and reporting sales of, all promotional campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with Manager of Inventory, and Production Department to order the inventory from
Production that is needed for stores
Coordinate the logistics of the finished product movement Forecasting harvest schedules from
grow facilities to accurately anticipate future trim allocation.
Work with Inventory and Purchasing Manager and Director to forecast weekly inventory needs
and coordinate Purchase Orders for all inventory orders
Oversee intake of all sellable products at the stores including but not limited to: Flower, Edibles,
Non-Edibles, Accessories, Merchandise, Cleaning Supplies, Packaging and Compliance needs,
etc. in all of our systems: Metrc, Flowhub/LeafLogix, Xero, etc.
Generating sales reports of promotional campaigns and delivering internal numbers to various
departments in addition to vendors. Inputting and maintaining Lightshade Promo Tracker sheet
used to capture and record historical promo sales data.
Maintaining accuracy of POS system and standardized product catalog. This includes company
wide price changes for promotional campaigns or updates to standardized pricing in our catalog.
Using standardized operating procedures, coordinate delivery of products throughout enterprise
including but not limited to/from; Retail Stores, Cultivation Facilities, Infusion processors, etc.
Setting up all bulk trim/adulterated flower/display flower for infusion processing
Inputting and maintaining accuracy of Official Concentrate Tracker form utilized by the
company to track yields/quality/costing analysis.
Ensure smooth operation of Inventory department, shipping and receiving, purchase order
tracking, etc.
Communication to stores/operations/marketing/compliance teams about product offering changes
or availability
Execute any outgoing wholesale order sales and pick ups/deliveries
Any other duties assigned.
OTHER DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works in a safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
Knowledge of basic computer skills, Metrc, Flowhub, Excel, Google Suite
Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality
Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner.
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and
holiday shifts and store location movement
Must have reliable transportation for occasional courier deliveries to/from the
stores/grows/distribution center.
Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities described below.
Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.
Other assigned duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent and one year inventory experience or retail experience in a
MMJ/retail store environment.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Key badge through the Medical Marijuana Enforcement
Division
Must have a valid driver license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
