What youll be doing:
Drive, develop, and closely manage the implementation of the distribution business plan for the facility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety, inventory) and develop strategic improvements for complex operations
Manage, organize, and oversee all aspects of Warehouse Operations in multiple locations
Manage and motivate warehouse associates to create a positive and performance driven culture
Understand and ensure associates follow Warehouse standard operating processes and procedures
Evaluate and manage resources and processes required for the successful warehouse operations
Adhere and ensure associates adhere to safety practices and compliance, also ensuring that associates receive the proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position
Partner with the Inventory team on a daily basis
Understand and manage key performance metrics as set by leadership team
Manage operations team to meet departmental goals via appropriate allocation of workload and effective resource management
Recruit, supervise, and train warehouse personnel
Drive outstanding performance or formulate improvement plans/reviews; make termination decisions, as needed
What were looking for:
At least 5 years' experience as a Distribution / Warehouse Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of facility associates
3 years' experience developing and managing budgets, managing P&L, developing manpower forecasts, monitoring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial/operational data
3 years' senior-level experience managing multiple business types (e.g., B2B and D2C textiles, retail) within a warehouse or logistics network
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of organizational and time management skills
Operationally focused; detailed oriented but able to grasp big picture
Excellent people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline if necessary
Excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Word and project management tools
Strong work ethic, analytical, understands how to manage people effectively and leads by example
High Level of risk analysis, critical thinking and the ability to provide solutions
Travel may be required based on business needs
- Be at least 18 years of age
