As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you’ll be the newest addition to the Facilities & Real Estate team, and will manage operational efficiency for Match Group and our portfolio of brands in NYC. You will ensure the cleanliness and operational functionality of our offices as well as a facilities partnership with Match IT and Security teams.

As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you’ll be the newest addition to the Facilities & Real Estate team, and will manage operational efficiency for Match Group and our portfolio of brands in NYC. You will ensure the cleanliness and operational functionality of our offices as well as a facilities partnership with Match IT and Security teams.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will act as the facilities main point of contact, delivering quality facility management services
- You will ensure all office equipment is up-to-date and functional, including items such as TVs, VTCs, remotes, workstations, music / speakers, beverage stations, kitchen appliances, projection system, printer, automated lighting, door locks, doorbell, Internet, HVAC / temp control, security cameras, plumbing, etc.
- You will manage deliveries, installations, repairs, orders and replacements, and be accountable for the aesthetic presentation of the office space.
- You will serve as the point of contact for vendors including cleaning services, electricians/plumbers, IT assistance, and all contractors needed to run the office, and negotiate third-party contracts with vendors.
- You will partner with our Landlord and Super to explore better use of the space and organize repairs; act as a liaison between landlord and Match Group whenever necessary
- You'll make sure bathrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and public areas are clean and uncluttered, and complete set-up / take-down for meetings and events.
- You will manage a budget for equipment, expansion, and capitalized expenses and assume ownership of the facilities-related account payable process.
- You will ensure compliance with all city and state building codes, OSHA, etc.
- You'll have opportunities to improve office operations, including making proposals around technology, equipment, vendors, security, signage, accessibility, and scaling.
- You will support all local office expansion, start up and move efforts as we scale for 2021 growth
We could be a match if:
- You have at least 3+ years of facilities management experience and are proficient in A/V, IT, and minor facilities-related repairs including office/kitchen equipment, furniture, etc.
- You are familiar with general contracting and R&M
- You are an excellent strategic planner and project manager, and can thoughtfully troubleshoot projects
- You work with remarkable speed and efficiency with achieving positive results, and you know when to outsource and delegate, and when to dive in yourself.
- You are physically able to perform the responsibilities of the position, which may include heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
- You are willing to be on-call in case of facilities-related emergencies.
- It would be great if you have experience with plumbing, electric, HVAC, construction, or other specialized skills that would accelerate office space maintenance and repairs.
- We'd love it if you have experience working for a tech company in hypergrowth and have experience commissioning, decommissioning and moving office spaces for a company
