Job Description
Education-Assistant Director/ Family Worker

Paradise Christian School is looking for a full-time Family Worker (must have experience in Early Childhood) and have worked in the office of an Early childhood Center. Be Positive, Full of positive energy and excited to work with children and families.
Duties:

Paradise Christian School is currently looking to hire a Head Start/Early Head Start Family Worker, This position is very similar to that of an Assistant Director at an Early Childhood Facility ( Enrollment/ Admissions, etc.) A lot of data Entry. Enrollment, Recruitment and helping families to achieve family goals. This is a Head Start/ Early Head Start Program and must be able to meet tight deadlines and monitor the health and safety of children and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Must have experience working in Early Childhood with children ages (0-5).
  • Meet DCF Requirements.
  • Be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Be able to pass a drug test.
  • Have Good communication.
  • Have excellent computer skill, rapid data entry.
  • Able to relate with families.
  • Assist with family's needs.
  • Be able to complete enrollment and registration of children.
  • Be able to monitor and track information.
  • Be a person who can Multi-task.
  • Preferably have experience in Early Childhood (ages 0-5).
  • Must have an AA degree or higher.
  • Preferably experience with Early Head Start/ Head Start program.
  • Have good English grammar and spelling for writing anecdotes and other documents.
  • Be empathetic and sensitive to assist families in need.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow regulations.
