Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Controller of Revenue and Contract Management (CRCM), this position is responsible for overseeing, managing, and preparing all claims and other aspects of contract documents for ICL and its subsidiaries.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Controller of Revenue and Contract Management (CRCM), this position is responsible for overseeing, managing, and preparing all claims and other aspects of contract documents for ICL and its subsidiaries.

Essential Tasks:

  • Supervise the Contract Management department
  • Oversee and prepare contract documents to State, City and Federal funding sources
  • Oversee and prepare cost reports and drawdowns per contract requirements
  • Prepare various cost reports as required for agencies such as CFR, CBR, and CQR
  • Oversee and assist with RFPs
  • Create and submit Budget modifications
  • Prepare year-end schedules (AR balances, advance reconciliations, )
  • Review expense reports on monthly basis to ensure accurate cost
  • Coordinate with the CRCM, Finance/ program personnel, and funding sources to ensure maximum contract reimbursement and to avoid overspending.
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets
  • Interact with both internal and. external auditors by providing the required documentation and ensuring that the proper information is maintained for historical

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is MBA or Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in the non-profit sector, preferably in the social services industry in contracts management, accounting, budgeting or other related This experience must include at least 4 years at a supervisory or managerial level

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be able to review and understand contract verbiage
  • Must have a full understanding of budgets and budget terms
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and
  • Must understand government contracts with agencies such as: NYSOMH, NYSOPWDD, NYSDOH, NYCDOHMH, NYCDHS,
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting ).
  • Understanding of data analysis and
  • Must be very organized, detail- oriented and great with time management and be able to meet stringent deadlines
  • Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, ) and proficiency with accounting software
  • Well-organized with ability to
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus superior problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, written communication, presentation and organizational
  • Intermediate to Excellent PC skills, including MS Office experience, Word (word processing) & PowerPoint (presentations) and accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 per year
