We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our team at The Residences at Annapolis Junction, a luxury 416 unit apartment community in Annapolis Junction, MD. www.ajapts.com
The Assistant Community Manager will perform a variety of administrative and management duties, focusing on leasing and cultivating resident relationships; assumes supervisory authority when the Community Manager is offsite.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assists with property and office administration including reporting, managing lease files, audits and renewals. Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective real estate transactions
- Assists with posting rents, daily deposits and managing delinquency through effective rent collections
- Ensures apartment is ready for resident move in on agreed date
- Leases and markets vacant and upcoming apartments
- Walks apartments and reports all necessary improvements
- Responds to current resident requests for information
- Assists with various outreach efforts and online marketing
- Assists in conducting market surveys and shopping competitive communities
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of property management experience required
- A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional vocational training or a four-college degree is preferred
