Our experienced staff of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Specialists, Parent Partners and other therapists/counselors provide case management, mental health care and a range of support services in our outpatient clinics and 24/7 treatment facilities, and in community settings such as schools and homes. Our dedicated teams work collaboratively and in partnership with family members, school administrators and faculty, county social workers, case managers, probation officers and other community-based agencies. JOB SUMMARY:
This position has a broad range of responsibilities in the overall day to day management of the community services program and serves as second in command to the Administrator.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation Master's degree in a Mental Health Field plus two years experience in a mental health field, child welfare, and/or juvenile probation.
ExperienceTwo (2) years direct service experience with seriously mentally disordered clients; experience with children and adolescents preferred. One (1) year clinical supervisory experience in an outpatient, hospital, or residential setting; experience as a Community Services Supervisor or Director preferred.
License or CertificationLicensed as RN, MFT, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist with at least two years experience post licensure. Valid California Driver's License.
Physical RequirementsAbility to visually and audibly assess adolescent's behavior and needs. Ability to sit for long periods of up to 3 hours at a time. Ability to drive within the community in personal and company vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. May Supervise Directors, Assistant Directors, Supervisors, Psychiatric Services Coordinator, Quality Assurance Manager, Maintenance and other staff as assigned. 2. Supports tasks of the CS Administrator as assigned (facilitates meetings in Administrator’s absence, carries out projects on Administrator’s behalf, etc). 3. Coordinates services provided to Community Services clients and families through management agreements and subcontracts. 4. Monitors budget to ensure maximum use of available funding across programs. 5. May provides oversight of Psychiatric Services Program processes, coordinating with each site’s Medication Support Designee and Teammates as necessary. 6. Acts as liaison with various external agencies (such as Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, Probation Department, Dependency Court, and police) to promote business development. 7. Supervises SVCS Quality Assurance program, collaborates with Administrator and Directors to ensure adherence with DMH and Medi-Cal standards. 8. Maintains on-going relations with other county agencies, health care facilities, placement centers and other resources necessary to affect the continuum of care for adolescents in the community. 9. Develops, implements and evaluates recommendations from Center committees, including quality assurance, utilization review, etc. and acts on these recommendations. 10. Assures compliance with Federal, State, County and local regulations pertaining to the operation of the Center and is responsible for informing appropriate staff of applicable additions, deletions, or changes to such regulations. 11. Develops, implements and monitors the Center’s operational budgets and capital expenditures. 12. Employs qualified personnel to maintain an adequate number of competent employees to ensure the provision of quality care to Center clients. Participates in all agency quality efforts. 13. Coordinates all Center staff corrective or disciplinary actions, including termination, with the Administrator.
