Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Asset Protection Analyst position develops and conducts analytical projects and reports for Asset Protection and identifies key performance indicators as the rationale to conduct on-site visits/audits. This position also analyzes point of sales data to determine the likelihood of fraudulent activities in restaurants. The Asset Protection Analyst trains Operators on Asset Protection best practices and supports Operations with immediate assistance to routine and complex equipment and safety issues. This position is based in the Support Center.

Descriptions
  • Develops and conducts analytical projects and reports for Asset Protection; identifies key performance indicators as the rationale for conducting on-site visits/audits. Analyzes point of sales data to determine the likelihood of fraudulent activities.
  • Maintains list of common security software/hardware issues and security equipment database; makes recommendations for store security equipment upgrades and for improving technology’s effectiveness; works with security system business partners and the IS Department to support security software needs.
  • Responsible for providing immediate response to Operators on routine and non-routine issues; provides initial support for complex equipment breakdowns and issues within 24 hours.
  • Prepares and submits reports to Operations teams on AP Findings and Exception Reporting.
  • Facilitates Asset Protection-related training to Operations Leaders, Operators, and associates on site and in classroom, including GO courses
  • Participates in annual review and recommended changes of Asset Protection-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs special projects related to security equipment and technology to reduce security and safety risks.
  • Assists the Asset Protection team with scheduling team meetings and tracking projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum three years of Security or related experience required, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment
  • Successful completion of annual store training
