Asset Movement Specialist

This role is within our Asset Movement Operations team which is responsible for reviewing client asset movement transactions involving cash and/or securities from a risk management, compliance, and quality perspective. The team also offers valued service to our clients pertaining to asset movement related processes and systems.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:

• High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required
• 5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing is preferred
• General knowledge of the securities industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Problem solving skills

Responsibilities: As an Asset Movement Specialist, you will:

• Review cash and securities transactions and risk-based rules to make quality decisions and minimize risk to clients and Pershing|BNYM
• Assess account balances and holdings, review supporting documentation, and use knowledge of regulatory rules and internal procedures to assess work items, often as the last line of defense
• Support both retirement savings accounts and account transfers
• Work in a collaborative environment with other team members to complete high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment and may assist and train other members of the team
