JOB SUMMARY:

The trainer will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop a schedule to assess training needs.
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, quality, and engineering.
  • Track and compile collected data.
  • Conceptualize training materials based on data and research.
  • Communicate training needs and online resources.
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
  • Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology.
  • Test and review created materials.
  • Maintain a database of all training materials.
  • Instruct employee training and onboarding.
  • Conduct training through new materials.
  • Review employee performance and learning.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts – Adjust schedule as needed to accommodate training/evaluating employees.
  • Training employees on Hydraulics (trouble shooting, settings, etc.)
  • Training employees on Safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one-year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Attention to detail, self-starter.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Skilled in high voltage industrial electric

REQUIRED SKILL/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.
  • Must be able to identify and use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to read blue- prints and electrical schematics.
