ASSEMBLER - IMMEDIATE OPENINGS - 2nd & 3rd Shift

About Us: Orotex has immediate openings for team members to assemble our products and prepare them for shipment to our clients. We are a Japanese owned company with solid roots in the U.S. for over 20 years. Our customers are some of the world’s leading automotive and automotive equipment manufacturers. They rely on us to provide them with cutting edge noise and vibration control products and components. We have doubled in size over the last several years and are adding many positions to keep up with demand.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assemble parts in a consistent manner
• Count and package products according to product/packaging specifications
• Self-audit quality of work to ensure 0 defects
• Operate production machinery following safe operating procedures
• Assemble boxes for shipment as needed
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the workstation
• Cross-train in other areas as required
• Train others as requested
• Other related duties as requested

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience working in an industrial setting preferred
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use both hands, wrists, and arms with continual motion
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to work overtime as needed sometimes without advanced notice
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. several times from floor to table throughout an entire 8-12 hour shift
• Ability to stand throughout an entire 8 – 12 hour shift
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Potential Work Environment: Temperatures may vary – hot and cold. Non-toxic fumes. Second shift hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Third shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This position often requires overtime depending on workload.

Physical Requirements: Standing 100% of the shift. Continual reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling objects. Crouching and lifting up to 50 lbs. several times throughout an entire shift. Frequent bending, stooping, and occasional walking. Requires continual fingertip contact, no long fingernails. Safety glasses are required/provided in the molding press area only.
