Currently, we are searching for an Assembler 1st shift to join our facility located in Charlotte, NC.

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. OT available

Position Summary:

The Assembler position performs direct manufacturing activities in the production department in support of the department objectives to provide goods and services that meet customer's requirements for quality, quantity, and timeliness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce small assembled parts according to product specs
  • Perform manufacturing processes to produce product include drilling, cutting, measuring, mounting, and assembling
  • Keep track of materials, tools, and procedures as the device is manufactured
  • Work with a variety of assembly equipment and hand tools including but not limited to tweezers, razor blade, scalpel, wire cutter, clippers, needle nose pliers, screwdriver, Allen wrenches, and ring light (magnifying glass)
  • Must have the ability to utilize a variety of assembly equipment including lab oven, glue dispenser, trimming lathe, and computer-operated saw

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications/Restrictions:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Work mostly on feet or at a bench utilizing a microscope for assembly
  • Have a good basic level of mechanical ability
  • Sewing and hand embroidery skills would be a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to count accurately
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Restricted use of makeup and fingernail polish
