Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator- Cookeville, TN

Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill the ASPHALT PAVER OPERATOR position in our Eastern Middle Tennessee Division located in and around Cookeville, TN .

Candidates for this position will need to be familiar and experienced in operating equipment for asphalt paving, such as:

• Rake/Lute
• Skid Steer
• Backhoe
• Broom
• Asphalt Roller
• Asphalt Screws/Screed
• Paver
• Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck (CDL required)
• Water Truck (CDL required)

Requirements:

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in an asphalt paving operation.
• Experience working road construction in high traffic areas preferred.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours when necessary.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and valid driver’s license required
