Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our MENOMONEE FALLS SURGERY CENTER facility.


FTE: 0.4000


*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*


*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*


Shift: 1st. Tuesday-Fridays. Start time between 0600 until approx. 0800. End times 8-9 hours after start time. No weekends, holidays or call.

Summary:
Provides direct and indirect nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, determining the objectives of nursing care within the framework of the physician's plan of medical care, the patient's needs, standards of nursing practice, legal regulations and ambulatory surgery center policies and procedures. He/she will perform other related duties as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, as well as quality of performance. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

A minimum of one to two years in Med/Surg, ambulatory surgery, PACU, or OR nursing is preferred.


EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.


EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
