We are looking for an experienced ASC Administrator to provide business and clinical leadership to our ASC team. The professional in this role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ASC and duties will include center licensing and accreditation, planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, staff utilization, budgeting, controlling and marketing the services provided by the facility. This position reports to the VP of Operations, ASC Division.
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the VP of Operations, the Administrator will:- Lead a team that provides multi-specialty surgical services including Spine, Ortho, Pain, Bariatric service lines
- Capable of recruiting surgeons into the Center and starting new service lines
- Manage the Surgical and Perioperative Services of the center
- Direct AAAHC accreditation and regulatory compliance
- Perform inventory management
- Manage and maximize financial performance of center
- Implement quality improvement measures
- Adhere to risk management protocols
- Conduct human resource functions (hiring, training, counseling etc.) for ASC adhering to our policies
- Control of staffing requirements and productivity
- Promote training and use excellent management techniques to increase retention of staff
- Provide outstanding customer service and patient care at the ASC
- Assist in patient care as needed
- Operating room experience
- Clear and active state nursing license; current and up-to-date training requirements
- 4 year degree graduate of an accredited school with a degree in the health care industry
- 5+ years ASC Administrator experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Familiarity with excel; ability to utilize pivot tables and excel sheets to monitor P&L and other financial KPIs
- Proven track record of recruiting surgeons to utilize ASC and starting new service lines
- Demonstrated success in meeting target objectives; ability to improve the Center’s P&L outcome
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- Knowledge of reimbursement issues such as coding and managed care contracting.
- Knowledge of AAAHC requirements and accreditation process
- Excellent computer and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task is critical to this position
