Asbestos Abatement Supervisor

EE&G has provided services to a wide variety of clients including corporations, federal/state/local governments, school districts, non-profit organizations, colleges/universities, single family and multi-family residential buildings, office buildings, and government owned facilities.

We are currently hiring a full-time ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SUPERVISOR for our Tampa location.

ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SUPERVISOR

Asbestos Abatement Supervisor job duties & responsibilities:

· Perform asbestos & remediation projects following proper asbestos & remediation protocol, means and methods.

· Communicate with project managers and property owners regarding service needs and contracts.

· On-site coordination of crew, materials & equipment, and compliance with PPE requirements.

· Supervise productivity and efficiency of crews.

· Organize & coordinate subcontractor activities.

· Manage project plans, schedules and timelines. Communicate project status, updates, issues, or concerns with project managers.

· Ensure job site and worker compliance with applicable safety protocols, PPE, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.

· Attend training and ensure compliance with proper protocols and health & safety requirements. Workers will be assigned and expected to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N-95 masks and other protective gear, to perform work.

· Perform physical labor on job sites, and general construction/repair work as needed.
Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism to represent the company in a positive manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Successful work experience in asbestos, remediation, and general construction.

· EPA-Accredited Asbestos Worker, or Asbestos Supervisor Certification preferred.

· Remediation training and/or certification preferred.

· Experience supervising labor crews.

· Able to perform manual labor with no restrictions, which may include but will not be limited to lifting, carrying, climbing, crawling, repetitive motion. Able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, occasionally in moderate heat.

· Proficiency driving box trucks and/or driving pick-up trucks with trailers as needed.

Must be willing and able to work a VARIABLE SCHEDULE, including overtime, night, and weekend hours.

Must be able to TRAVEL TO JOB SITES to perform work. Travel pay and per diem may be provided.

MUST have a VALID DL with clean driving record, and reliable transportation to/from work.

MUST be able to clear background check processes required to gain access (security clearance) on job sites including military bases, schools, and other public/government facilities.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
