Sodexo is seeking an experienced Area General Manager for NetJets Headquarters, and two smaller facilities located in Columbus, Ohio. This is a High Profile Headquarters operation for our Aviation Client. This position is responsible for cafe and retail services, catering, airline meals, and acquiring any needs for aircraft owners or guests. This unit requires 24 hour, 7 days a week attention to all in-flight needs. Position reports to the District Manager and works closely with our client while managing the daily operations of food production, and service in the facilities. This candidate must have a strong financial background, and previous experience in General Manager or Director level positions, as well as established food and beverage operations experience. This General manager will oversee two additional high profile sites in the surrounding area.
The successful candidate will:
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- have previous experience in high volume bar operations (required);
- deliver high quality food and beverage service;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- develop strategic plans;
- create a positive environment;
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
- are open to a flexible schedule
- will have oversight and continued innovation of catering and food service offerings
- prior fiscal accountability including budget forecasting
- proven ability to control food and labor cost within the department
- strong leadership and administrative skills (including the ability to successfully hire and train an exceptional staff)
- ability to successfully foster strong client and customer relationships
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
- demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This is only for internal candidates as external candidates won’t have this knowledge

Position Summary: Functions as the in-unit leader for multiple accounts and/or contracts within a defined geography. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of a multi-site.Key Duties
- Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects, implement new processes, client interactions, and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.

- Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
