This role is both production and a management role of staff members. Your key metrics as a Project Manager will be based on your team's efficiency and professional knowledge growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform QA/ QC checks for all projects in progress
    • Hires and coordinates with consulting engineers
    • Update project management software phase statuses
    • Responsible for code review for projects
    • Responsible for responses to authority having jurisdiction
    • Performs and accountable for all client communication throughout project
    • Writes project proposals
    • Schedules project team within project management software for projects
    • Responsible for project deadlines and hourly budgets
    • Manages invoicing through project management software
    • 60/40 billable towards projects
    • Oversight of project team for projects including design, engineering coordination, documentation, permitting, and construction administration
    • Oversee all aspects and elements of the design and construction process of a project
    • Develop, organize, and review building plans
    • Ensure that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning, and aesthetic standards.
    • Determine and schedule different stages of the building process according to client needs
    • Manage all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects
    • Prepare strategic plans for project success
    • Manage client budgets, project communications, and documentation

Candidates that demonstrate previous knowledge and experience in wood-framed multi-family structures are preferred. Additional experience that will be evaluated includes urban development, infill development experience, experience in Philadelphia, familiar with Type III and Type V building types, strong consultant coordination experience, experience in Autodesk Revit, and experience in managing a team of 3-5 designers.
