Apprentice Maintenance Technician

We maintain single-family rental homes for property management firms in the Charlotte area and are seeking motivated individuals to help our company grow. You may work in one house for several days while you're preparing it for a new tenant but you may also work on 4-5 separate homes in a single day. You will be paid while you drive between jobs and you will also be reimbursed mileage expenses.

INITIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but not be limited to the following:

1) Removing trash, furniture and abandoned items from homes

2) Basic yard clean-up and maintenance

3) Lawn mowing

4) Interior and exterior home painting

The successful candidate will possess the following:

1) Great attitude

2) The ability to follow instructions and complete reports on a company-supplied iPhone

3) The ability and willingness to learn new skills and a better way of doing things

4) The desire to do a great job every day and get things done right the first time

5) The ability to manage themselves without having someone constantly looking over their shoulder

6) A reliable automobile, pick-up truck or SUV (public transportation, motorcycles, scooters, etc. don't count!)

7) Basic hand and power tools (hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, drill, saws, etc)

7) The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening and random drug screenings while employed.
