We're looking for seasoned application support professionals who can work well within a highly collaborative organization to ensure the integrity of our production systems. Your primary responsibilities will be to monitor our web-based applications, APIs, and underlying infrastructure, troubleshoot a variety of application and infrastructure issues, and perform the release of changes to our production systems.Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and embracing ownership of the production systems
  • Creating and maintaining production system documentation, including platform diagrams, data flow diagrams, playbooks, and escalation procedures
  • Monitoring the production systems, including web-based applications, APIs, back-end services, databases, network, and infrastructure components
  • Participating in after-hours monitoring coverage and facilitating issue escalation and resolution
  • Fostering a culture of operational excellence and contributing to overall system and process improvements
  • Increasing customer satisfaction and knowledge by partnering with our Account Management team
  • Working with the engineering team to provide application design considerations and assist with the implementation of application solutions
  • Collaborating with the QA team in establishing test cases and executing test plans
  • Performing production system maintenance and facilitating communication around operational activities
  • Performing and verifying the release of changes to the production systems
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential production system issues as they are trending
  • Troubleshooting production system issues that have been identified
  • Understanding and creating complex TSQL queries and scripts
  • Parsing, analyzing, and understanding system log files
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Technical System Analysis and/or Application Support
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively interact with users of various technical levels
  • Strong research, analytic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work effectively alone and in team environments
  • Able to work under tight deadlines while providing high-quality work
  • Solid coaching and mentoring skills
