Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in completing work orders assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority
- Assists in Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenant occupancy
- Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
- Assists in preventative maintenance as assigned
- Assists in maintaining and keeping a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
- Assists in exterior structural maintenance as needed
- May assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
- Snow removal (when applicable)
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months’ experience in general maintenance
- Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
- Have good verbal and written communication
- Problem solving skills
- Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
