Job Description

The City of Lampasas is now accepting applications for the position of Animal Control Officer. Under supervision of the Animal Shelter Supervisor, duties include, but not limited to, maintaining the City animal shelter and any other required duties to the upkeep of the animal shelter, perform routine animal patrol duties, enforce state laws and city ordinances pertaining to animal control. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Texas Drivers License, and must be able to obtain the required Basic Animal Control Officer certification within a given period. Starting hourly rate is $15.49, plus excellent benefits. Applicant must pass a physical/drug screen and background checks.
