Job Description
The Android or iOS Developer will participate in the software development lifecycle developing mobile apps for the native platform in a small team of developers, analyze and design code from business and technical requirements, document work, and communicate effectively with business analysts and quality assurance analysts. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, require minimal supervision, and be responsible for the quality and timeliness of their own work.
About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role
- Participate in Scrum Activities on a scrum team.
- Review requirements and specifications (User Stories).
- Design and develop code based on user stories, and that are compliant with team coding standards.
- Document and track work through an issue tracking system.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)
- Minimum of 7 years software development experience
- One of the following work experiences detailed below:
2+ years of native Android development (Java/Kotlin)
2+ years of native iOS development with Swift
- Good communication skills (written/verbal)
- Agile, GIT
Strongly Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ years of native Android or iOS development
- Minimum of 1+ years of native Android development using Kotlin
- Design Patterns
- Android or iOS app you developed available in App store.
“Nice to Have” Skills & Experience:
- AWS
- REST API
- Gitflow experience
Salary range $100,000 - 130,000, may vary depending on candidate qualifications.
