Work you'll do
- Assist with evaluation, development, programming, and execution of on-going reconciliations
- Work with clients to coordinate development and resolution of identified analytical deficiencies
- Lead analytics team to execute data strategy and review analytic scripts (Python, Databricks, SQL, ACL)
- Design and implement technical solutions to improve financial management activities
- Advise our clients on technical accounting and internal controls matters
- Work with clients to identify financial control issues and gaps
- Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships
- Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
- Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
- Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team
- Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
- Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
- Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

Qualifications
- Ability to maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field
- Experienced in ACL, Python, SAS, Alteryx, R, SQL, or other advanced analytical programs
- Applied knowledge of accounting analytics in the Federal space
- 4+ years of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments
- 4+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information
- 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role
- Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
- 6+ years of total experience including 2 years of management experience leading a team of resources
- Project Management experience including managing schedules, timelines, and communication with clients
Preferred:
- Consulting experience in business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, or financial system integrations
- Familiarity with U.S. government financial accounting systems
- Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA
