Job Description
Recruiting for top tech talent is a key priority across Meta. The Functional Business Analytics Partners’s key role is to use data to optimize operations and performance in partnership with the tech recruiting leadership team. In this role, you will act as a key advisor for the recruiting leader using data to consult on a broad spectrum of recruiting issues, with the focus on how we efficiently meet the company’s hiring objectives through our teams and supporting functions. An example of this work is using macro hiring progress data to isolate potential issues at the micro team level, and to then work with those teams and the data to develop proactive actions. The ideal candidate will have strong ability to apply business and recruiting context to data, and in turn translate data into insights and action plan. Additionally, the ability to influence, communicate and strategically prioritize work in a high ambiguity, fast moving environment is critical to this role.

Analytics Business Partner, Meta Tech Recruiting Responsibilities:
- Act as key analytics consultant for recruiting leaders to design and execute measurements
- Connect global data and strategies to functional data in order to create team-specific analytics and reporting
- Identify the mapping of the hiring targets that each recruiting team is responsible for delivering to the business, and provide recruiting managers reporting and analyses related to their targets
- Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to managers in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams, such as the Recruiting Insights team
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and create actionable recommendations
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs
- Deliver analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences and partner with them to identify the right actions
- Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Visier, and Excel to build and drive analytics and to enable client self-service on routine queries, as well as to design/run/deliver ongoing reporting and dashboards
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS with 5+ years (or MBA/MA/MS with 4+ years) of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in at least one of these fields: management consulting, sales operations, finance, human resources
- Experience gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources
- Experience translating business context into data requirements and translating data into insights
- Experience connecting the dots between technology, data engineering and analytical execution
- Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks
- Knowledge of data visualization principles
- Experience in data visualization tools and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros, etc.)
- Experience building dashboards using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending) or equivalent tool
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and inferential statistics)
- Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Tableau, Salesforce etc.
- Experience in SQL
- Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
