Analytical Chemist
We are a start up company providing quality pharmaceuticals to our customers. This position has great growth opportunity for the right candidate, and the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the several operations of the business depending on willingness and ability to learn.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analysis of chemical compounds
Interpret chemical data obtained from laboratory instruments (IR, NMR, HPLC, MS)
Utilize HPLC, MS, GC and other instruments in laboratory environment
Generated Analysis report for chemical substances
Maintain a quality system for internal processes
Education and Experience
Maters or Doctor’s degree in chemistry or related fields
Position requires an understanding of various analytical chemistry techniques
5-10 year experience in chemicals synthesis and compound identification
Other demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required include
knowledge related to compound identification
Hands on experience with chemical synthesis of complex compounds
Technical and theoretical understanding of complex organic and inorganic compounds.
Proven analytical and organizational skills to research, interpret, document and report data
Effective oral and written communication skills
Must be flexible, able to manage several assignments concurrently, follow established protocols, and work independently within guidelines
Must be detail oriented
Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills
