Job Description
Position Overview
As an Analyst, Renewable Development, you will participate in the development of utility-scale wind and/or solar projects across the United States. This position will be based at our regional office in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners.
Attend community meetings and represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, state and local officials, and other stakeholders.
Conduct site assessments, fatal flaw analysis and other due diligence.
Coordinate activities with 3rd Party Consultants on environmental, wildlife, and geotechnical analysis.
Obtain local, state and/or federal permits.
Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
Identify development prospects and conduct initial site reconnaissance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 5 years of professional experience.
Familiarity with renewable project development, real estate development, transmission OR power project engineering with a desire to learn more.
Demonstrated agility and flexibility as business needs and priorities shift.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
A desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Travel as needed, anticipated 30 - 50% of the time.
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in similar role in renewable energy, power/utilities or related industry.
Salary Range
$55,000 - $72,000
