What we're looking for

A driven, high-performing Analyst who moves forward the Operations Analytics team and analytics strategies to support our rapidly growing business. We are leveraging data and analytics to drive business action in order to provide excellent experiences for our guests and to drive shared, sustainable profitability for both our homeowners and Vacasa.

You will work on strategic analytics initiatives that drive forward our owner retention efforts in a meaningful way. Specifically, you will be providing analytics, insights, and recommendations to the business on the success of our owner retention efforts as well as future strategies and tactics to improve these initiatives. As the largest vacation rental company in North America we operate in hundreds of distinct markets across the continent and your efforts will help us better understand the drivers of regional successes and challenges so we can apply those lessons across our entire portfolio. An ideal candidate comes with both the technical skills needed to create the data sets and strong analysis and communication experience in order to identify and affect key drivers and operational levers.

What you'll do

  • Not only find answers, but define the questions and make business recommendations as well
  • Successfully manage multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines
  • Work effectively with all employees at all levels of the organization
  • Communicate effectively, including writing/developing processes, procedures and business recommendations
  • Tackle projects from the ideation phase, to sourcing data, analyzing results and prescribing changes to the business
  • Conduct presentations to high level groups across the organization including senior VPs, and C-Suite level executives regularly
  • Passionate and eager to solve problems

Skills you'll need

  • 2-4 years of analysis experience
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets; providing reporting; and driving actionable business change via analysis, insights and strategic recommendations
  • Experience driving actionable insights from discovery stage to implementation within the business
  • Experience analyzing the success of customer retention programs
  • Demonstrated ability to define and refine forecasts based on historical datasets and recent trends
  • Strong SQL, Excel and Business Intelligence experience with Looker or a similar data visualization tool
  • Demonstrated success defining KPIs from raw data sources and within the context of the business
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • BS degree and/or the equivalent in training and experience
  • Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY
