Requisition ID: R10030883 The Sr. Principal Systems Engineer will work on the Zombie family of targets requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary and multi-division environment The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities. Regular interface with program management, engineering staff and external customers is expected. The candidate is expected to solicit, negotiate, track, and verify mission requirements are met through design, test, or analysis. The candidate is expected to travel to support launch campaigns and customer meetings with the opportunity to lead the Zombie team during field campaigns The candidate should possess a strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously. The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills. Presents and prepares materials for presentation during System Requirement Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review and System Verification Review. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Engineering degree plus 9 years of experience; Masters degree plus 7 years of experience; PhD plus 4 years of experience. U.S. Citizenship is required. Northrop Grumman's Space Systems is searching for an experienced Sr. Principal Engineer Systems to support the Launch and Missile Defense Systems business unit for the Zombie Program as a Mission Manager.
Salary Range: 108600 - 163000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
