Full Time Art Teacher Position -The primary purpose of this position: *To instruct and supervise a diverse group of students by establishing a positive, respectful learning environment, providing ample and varied learning opportunities, and promoting high standards of performance for all students regardless of their background and developmental levels. *To develop in each student an interest in and ability for expressing him/herself creatively, utilizing skills, and techniques of artistic expression appropriate to the student's interests and abilities. To develop an aesthetic understanding and appreciation. To discover and develop the talents of students in the field of Art.Yamhill Carlton High School is seeking applicants for a full time Art Teacher.
Candidates should have knowledge and experience in Social Emotional Learning, Trauma-Informed Care, Data Teams or PLC work, data collection, analysis of student work, current best practices, and be eager to collaborate within a content-teaching team.Performance Responsibilities: Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all organizational levels.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Adhere to policies of the YCSD.Note: This is not necessarily an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, functions or working conditions associated with the job.
