The University of Washington (UW) and Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) are partnering to implement a program that will integrate COVID-19 testing into workplace outbreak investigations and rapidly scale-up testing among affected workers. Improving access to COVID-19 testing among essential workers in non-healthcare settings is an important part of improving health equity in King County.
We are seeking Workplace Contact Tracers (Research Coordinators) to conduct contact tracing activities for the COVID-19 outbreak response specifically in non-healthcare workplaces. The work of the Workplace Contact Tracer involves conducting in-depth interviews with confirmed cases and follows up with their contacts in order to notify them about test/exposure status, reinforce isolation and quarantine (I/Q) guidelines, facilitate adherence to I/Q by supporting individual's needs. The contact tracers will work closely with the COVID-19 public health workplace investigation team.
