Employment Type : Full-Time
At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) organization as a Program Manager. This is a management role at the outset with a small number of direct reports, will report to the Sr. Manager of WorkingWell Technology, and will work closely with cross-functional senior leaders, their teams, and occasionally Directors. You will have a strong delivery record and leadership experience to own, influence, integrate, and execute technical projects. You are able to define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, drive improvements that are quantifiable and measurable, and influence resource allocation. You understand the significant business problems in your program space, automation limitations, systems requirements, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind leadership decisions. This Program Manager must be an effective communicator and provide clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing, while also establishing relationships across the WHS, and FC networks to aid in operations implementations. This position will support roll-out of multiple safety and wellness-related technology deployments, including strategic developments that support the health and wellness of our associates and engaging them before and after injury-intervention occurs.
This position will also have a strong focus on finding and identifying technical solutions that exist outside of the company and bringing the right ideas back to Amazon. To work effectively in the role, the candidate would understand the needs and restrictions of key Amazon businesses and operations, and find ways to use technology to serve associates and the strategic business direction of the WHS organization.
